I know. I know. I've been gone for a while. I'm sorry. Well, I haven't been gone, really. I just haven't been here. But now I'm here and so are you. I'm glad for that.
If you've stumbled across this page, you've probably encountered me being an idiot on YouTube. Welcome! If you're a fan of my writing, then welcome! I'll try to have a little something for all of you - away from the slavering Morlocks of social media.
So . . . what's new with you?
Me? Well, the Modern Rogue crew and I are kicking things into high gear soon with the purchase of THE MODERN ROGUE WORLD HEADQUARTERS. It's going to be a hub of all sorts of interesting things (and the usual jackassery), but right now it's an unfinished home set on 7 acres of land just outside of Austin. When I say 'unfinished', I mean that we're going to be setting up shop in what is essentially the Paper Street Soap Company. It should be an interesting and exciting boondoggle.
For the non-Modern Rogue pursuits, I'm working on a new novel. I hope to have it out by the end of the year. This one will incorporate many of the things you may find interesting about the Modern Rogue - hacks and tradecraft and anarchy and the like. I don't want to spoil too much yet, but I think you'll like it. For those of you who are wanting more of the Black Goat Motorcycle Club, don't worry. I haven't abandoned Bullet or the horrific world that has revealed itself to her. She'll be back.
This fall, I have a movie I wrote that will have a limited theatrical run, followed by digital distribution. It's gone through a number of names, but now it's known as SLEEP NO MORE. It's a spooky horror flick in the vein of Flatliners, but with a bit more HP Lovecraft (naturally). Other movie projects are ramping up, so hopefully I'll have more info about that soon.
Oh! And did you know about Aztec Death Whistles? I just found out about these today and I'm in love. I want a small group of cloaked hell priests to follow my enemies and harry them with an entire marching band of these shrill nightmares.

I love video games. Recently, I shamefully thought that I didn't have time to do all of the things that needed doing, so . . . video games had to go. I went for 2-3 months without really playing much of anything. And you know what? I nearly went insane. I dove back into the Witcher 3 and haven't looked back.
Now we've got some vintage gaming stuff, the kind of games that influenced my love of the medium like few others.
Day of the Tentacle!
If you're a PSN+ subscriber with a PS4, they're putting this classic up for free. And I use the term "classic" without reservation. This old LucasArts gem is fun and weird. Check it out.
Sierra Humble Bundle!
Many of you have heard me go on and on about my love for the old Sierra adventure games. This humble bundle gives you all of the big ones. Police Quest, Space Quest, King's Quest, and Quest for Glory. Sure, the oft-ignored Manhunter series is missing here, as is Leisure Suit Larry, but . . . you get ALL of the major ones for super cheap. I encourage you to consume this buffet of 1980's deliciousness.
That's insane. It's really just hard for me to fathom since we only launched the channel like 3 months ago. Big things are coming up in 2017. Subscribe and join us!
